When: | Wednesday, March 21, 2018 12:00PM – 5:00PM |
Where: | Boston, Massachusetts Westin Copley Place America South Ballroom on the 4th Floor |
The topic of pain management is one of the hottest workers’ compensation topics in 2018. The Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation is bringing stakeholders together on March 21, 2018 to collaborate on treating pain. For years our industry has addressed opioid challenges, including weaning and tapering. Yet, how do we treat chronic pain without opioids? Have you heard of prehabilitation and pre-pain care paths? Is pain literacy part of your workers’ compensation claim best practices? What are the recommended treatment options for acute pain patients?
Attendees will hear from engaging panels covering pre-pain, acute pain, and chronic pain treatment. As is an Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation tradition, we will also collaborate with one another to share ideas and learn from one another.
